A little trip to South Korea
Within a week of landing on the island of Okinawa, I was packing my bags and getting ready for a deployment to the Republic of Korea (RoK) for a month or so. While not a very exciting trip in itself, it did open my eyes even more to how amazingly lucky we Americans are with the lifestyles we lead. The country itself was amazing and full of life, and the people were wonderful to work with. Aside from the fact that most my photos got lost in a glitch with my old camera, it was a fairly nice trip. Here are a few photos from the trip over on the boat (which allowed me to see an amazing sunset at sea) and a few of my other favorites.
Korea, itself, is a very fast paced, jam-packed nation. It shows everywhere from the supermarket to the city streets.
Unfortunatley, due to technolog hating me, I have very few pictures of this country. Here are a few parting shots of the group I was with and I getting ready to leave on the boat.
And the boat. Our escape, if you will.
